do you like experimental improvised pop music?

if so you will LOVE this new album by experimental, improvised pop group POWERDOVE. they are a trio based around the songs of annie lewandowski (who has featured on one of my favourite Former Ghosts songs, and has also been involved in improv groups with people like Chris Cutler and Charles Hayward) but also featuring John Dietrich from Deerhoof and some guy from some band called L'Ocellot Mare

i think it's a really evocative and beautiful listen. i can imagine listening to this on a bus that goes from the inner city out to the countryside, to visit a dying relative, or a lover, for the last time
