Bands' Ancestral Tree
Anyway, you miss me, I miss you...OK, fuck it, nobody missed me but I missed you so OK fuck it
Honestly, I have a list of 30 or so records I've been meaning to acquire, but since I'm not accountable here, it hasn't been a priority. Except that, obviously, my life sucks a little bit more without those 30 records in my life. So, OK, I admit it, I need you more than you need me.
So how 'bout we talk some stoopid shite? Let us assign modern bands to their ancestral tree. Let's say you've got to go two generations...just to make it interesting. No, "Interpol to Joy Division" ... unless you can give us Joy Division's lineage.
So, like, OK, uhm
Spoon > the Replacements > Richard Hell & the Voidoids
OK, batter up. I'm dying to see if any of yous can stretch your band's family tree into the 60s or before. Go fer it.
