I'm currently reading this book, after a recommendation on a music books thread a while back.

It's absolutely brilliant, compelling reading and introducing me to bands that I only otherwise knew by name. I can see myself spending some serious time with the minutemen back catalogue.

Anyway, it's had me thinking, if you were to write a similar sort of book, covering a scene or a time period of bands, what would you cover? I think there's a load of compelling cases for similar books of this type.

Also, recommend me other music books plz.
