What an odd month. We lost Lou Reed. It was a decade since Elliott Smith passed away. And there were some big releases which disappointed somewhat. Then again, there was also some great little things. And I totally fell in love with the Girls Names album (which I realise wasn't out this month). Annoyingly I spent so much time with Neptune albums (and the forthcoming Nils Frahm album) I don't really have an album of the month - definitely got a few I need to spend some time with, like the new Maria Taylor album, that I absolutely adore.
