We're edging nearer to yearendageddon o'clock. Lots of monthly magazines are about to hit shelves with their December issues and that means album of the year lists will soon be out. I think most websites and places like Rough Trade begin announcing their lists around November 15th, if memory serves.

So, what do you think will top [publication X]'s album of the year list?

Pitchfork will probably be Arcade Fire. With Kanye at number 2.

Wire - Boards of Canada (or maybe something like Forest Swords)
Fact - Jon Hopkins
Clash - The Knife
Mojo - Nick Cave
The Fly - 65daysofstatic
NME - Peace
theQuietus - Factory Floor
Q - Arcade Fire

I'm not sure what DiS' will be at all yet. Usually I have a vague idea about this time of the year, but I've already had three senior staff veto me making Paramore album of the year.
