Was watching Hendrix at the Isle of Wight a couple of nights ago, & it set me wondering about what he'd be doing now if he was still alive. I figured either making abrasive junkyard blues albums a la Tom Waits, experimental jazz-rock like late Miles Davis, or, the worst-case scenario, doing tedious blues-rock tours with Eric Clapton for audiences of American executives.
