Brian Eno's first 2 "pop art" albums after he left Roxy Music sound incredible to me. They are so strange, so beautiful. He made - and was involved in - such great music between 1973 and 198something from Bowie to Harmonia, Fripp, Talking Heads, Robert Wyatt, Ultravox, Kevin Ayers. Of course he did some incredible stuff making the ambient sound - accessible at least. But those two first records, the Warm Jets record and Taking Tiger Mountain are just WOW!
