I know there's a lot of these things always floating around, but I think this could be an interesting one (not that others aren't of course).

Anyway, there's been some discussion on here about Roberto Cacciapaglia's Ann Steel Album, which we reissued a little while back. Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Banjo or Freakout, Neon Indian etc have all spoken about how much they love this album in the past too.

As you may or may not know Ann was an American model who moved to Milan in the late 70s to get in to catwalk stuff and ended up recording this weird, sci-fi pop record with Roberto, who at the time was making kosmische records with Popul Vuh. Since then she hasn't done anything, disappeared - no interviews, no music, no nothing.

I'm interviewing her soon so if anybody has anything they'd like to know, I will pass it on to her.

I realise this is quite a niche request.
