Bit of advice needed. My sister, having spent the last year living with bands and going out to raves, has now decided that she wants to get into DJing. However, despite both of us being really into electro/house music, she has no idea what this really entails, and nor, really do I. However, I'm keen to support this exciting, if cliched, ambition, and with Christmas approaching I was wondering if anyone who DJs/knows anything about DJing could recommend something that is key for someone starting up. Probably can't afford to get her a set of decks, but either a book about it or some other important piece of equipment would be great.
