I'm worried that when David Crosby dies he won't be given the right recognition.

I think everyone will know him from the Simpsons more than anything else.

But he was definitely more than that. He was one of the main Americans in the 60s. Lost it a bit in the 70s but all the best ones did.

He's been in my top 5 heroes for ages (probably since I was about 17 and I first properly listened to Fifth Dimension and Younger Than Yesterday).

I know Gene Clark's cool and ting, but cmon, Crosby was a champ.
