I was thinking about this the other day, and I'm thinking about it again now because of the Violent Femmes thread...I love it when a band hits upon a particular sound and explores within that sound on a record.

the steel strings/rattley snare/acoustic bass ramshackle punky folk pop sound on that s/t is just the best.
