We are putting on a few acts at Proud tonight and alt rock headliners Red Kite feature Dan Fisher (ex The Cooper Temple Clause) and main support Emperor Yes feature Adam Betts (Three Trapped Tigers drummer).

Proud is doing food as well - pop down.

Red Kite are a six-piece, dual drumming alt-rock band based in London. With influences as diverse as dEUS, Del Shannon and Do Make Say Think, their strains of widescreen epic ambition led to them being compared to Arcade Fire by Q ("the beginning of something special" reckoned Faded Glamour), and it was no surprise that the band found favour at Radio 1, XFM and 6Music.

London band Emperor Yes are Ash Gardner, Adam Betts (Three Trapped Tigers) and Hugo Sheppard. They produce psychedelic influenced pop music along the lines of The Flaming Lips.

The band have played Green Man festival, received praise from Pitchfork and airplay on 6 Music and Amazing Radio.
