Okay, so the last ever NOW compilation, NOW 83, is set for release next month on 19 November. To celebrate I'm planning to listen to every NOW in 31 days starting today.

The aim is to see how pop music has changed over 30 odd years, see whether certain artists are worthy of reappraisal or fresh derision etc

Sean suggested I live blog this in case any of you lot wanted to join me in the madness. The rules are simple:

- Listen to every numbered NOW compilation by 10 October
- NOW Reggae, Xmas and the rest don't count as they're not snapshots of a particular era

When you've listened to a compilation write a 140 character review with a rating out of 10. Also, your favourite track from the compilation.
