basically, my current phones are a bit shit. very shallow sound and not really worth the money I paid for them. I think it's time to make a proper investment, especially as I'm spending more and more time making mixes and DJing.

Sennheiser HD 25-1 II - talk to me, DiS. Is it worth breaking the £100 barrier on these? I've heard nothing but great things and I wanna take the plunge into a much higher-end range. anything come close or indeed better them in terms of personal, day-to-day use as well as playing live etc?
