Hi everyone,

I'm going to the USA to visit some friends in DC and New York (possibly also northern Virgina) in November. While I'm there I want to see some gigs and visit some iconic music venues. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good venues in these places that have a bit of history? (ala 9.30 club in DC).

Also if anyone could recommend a good listings site for any of these places it would be greatly appreciated.
