Just got back. What did everyone who went think?

Definite highlights:
-Japandroids
-Cloud Nothings (despite the awkward stage invasion)
- Randomly stumbling in on Future of the Left filling in for Clock Opera
-Factory Floor
-Hookworms
-Mount Kimbie
-Willie Mason
-The screen-printing merch

Lowlights
-Julio Bashmore and Lunice pulling out
-Disclosure blowing their amps before they even started
-Running out of money on the Friday!

I guess because of my poverty during the festival it was mainly band orientated fun rather than LETS GO FUCKING MENTAL, but with such a fun lineup it didn't really matter. The Noisey stage had a great line up the whole weekend, and I was really impressed with the bands I hadn't heard before like Hookworms (thanks for the tip DiS).

For their first year as Beacons I thought it was pretty good. I've heard a few complaints about usual festival woes like no water/shit toilets, but mainly things seem to have gone pretty well.
