Struggled with the spelling there. So what would you consider to be a Magnum Opus, or to make it easier, what examples to you hold dear to me. I guess this is an excuse o get fruity about albums which we believe are somehow bigger than their components but also...which bands are really due an Opus, or even never made the one they should have (TVOTR anyone?)

For me a band has made an Opus when the album is their best work by some distance. It seems as though the music has been translated to you from some time ago, and is more than just the creative workings of some puny 20th/21st century brains...

The Microphone's The Glow Pt. II is surely a good example. Even though Mount Eerie is also very, very good...
