Great review on this very site. I have loved this album for a long time. Much like the reviewer I first heard it when my parents put it on - one of the few decent things they had in their collection.

Random observations:

Its hard for me not to listen to side one in one sitting. 5 very good songs.

The bass playing is so so good. The way it keeps the rhythmic swing but also goes off with these melodic fills that are a great counterpoint to the lyrical melody.

This album is one of the few that everyone in my friendship group acknowledges is great. It often gets listened to at some point in the night when we all meet up round someone's haus.

My favourite song is 'I know what I know'
