As some on here know, I used to do stupid harsh noise stuff. Sometimes solo, sometimes with my chum Cementimental, sometimes in my old band Horse Vomit.

It is the purest form of rock and roll you will ever see. It is everything rock and roll is; everything rock and roll should be; everything rock and roll could ever dream of becoming. It is perfect in everyway. An entire set that lasts less than 3 minutes; an artist that looks fucking badass; extreme noise, chaos, anarchy and rawness... and yet, complete control over what he is doing and the sound he is making.

Walks into the venue, straight onto the stage, shouts 1,2,3,4444444, rips the audiences face off for two and a half minutes, walks off stage and straight out the venue like it's fucking nothing. AND he's wearing a purple cravat and flares.

I will forever love Masonna. But he does, and is, everything in noise I have ever wanted to do and be, that there's just no point in being a shit imitation. I will never be Masonna, so what's the point in trying?
