I've just discovered this band, apparently some/all of them are in Red Sparowes, who I've always kind of liked but I think came out at a time when I was feeling a bit inundated with doomy, drawn-out post-rock/metal stuff so never really got way in to. But this new band are properly amazing. Their album came out last month, and it's incredible. Hazy, atmospheric, kinda heavy, occasionally pulling in some of that mysterious Cocteau Twins vibe in to an altogether fuzzier, harder proposition.

Also, the singer/guitarist is in this band The Nocturnes, who are also brilliant and whom I also did not know existed. I have nothing to add really, just seeing if anyone else had stumbled across these guys and could maybe throw out some suggestions of similar things to track down. I'm really feeling in the mood for this stuff.
