1) & 2) Double whammy. Listening to the El-P record more, but I think the Killer Mike one is immediately stronger. Not sure how this will continue. Cancer For Cure is backloaded, definitely. From Stay Down onwards is gold.
3) The new album is really surprisingly good. Quite shocked, was expecting more of the same, but there's a harder edge this time which means it feels less contrivedly lo-fi (is contrivedly a word? I think not, but you get my point)
4) & 9)a) Yeah, this is what I like to listen to in summertime. Neo classical doom filled musique concrete.
9)b) Going to a record shop tomorrow in hope they have a Thee Oh Sees ticket left. Really need to see them, have never made it so far. Even if it's the night before an interview it'll be fine. Db levels here are too low to leave me with ringing ears.
