listened to it a few times today. not sure on it really, would have to say i'm a bit disappointed. there's a load of extra fluff that's really unnecessary - one of the songs has a 50 second spanish guitar intro, the whole album ends with a grand piano solo. in theory i'm not against them incorporating a wider ranger of influences than just The Raincoats and in fact I think what made them stand out on the last record was the violins etc, but on this they sound really out of place and don't really add anything.

quite like a few of the songs though, especially the single. just business as usual i guess.
