Obviously it's not too serious, but I like the idea of doing shows in my house, in the place that the music has grown out of...are there any artists who've done this, or something similar?

Also, the idea of 'place' is becoming more important to my work, so much so that I fear I won't be able to make music once I move from where I'm currently living (a classic 'small town' in Kent). Which artist d'you think most powerfully evokes a place in his/her work? I'd like some inspiration...
