I'm moving to London soon- I'm down there quite a bit, but the only record shop I go into is Rough Trade. I live in Manchester at the moment, and often the prices of LPs in Rough Trade are at least £3, sometimes up to £6 (seriously!!) higher than the same record in Piccadilly Records in Manchester (which isn't what I'd call a cheap record shop by any means).

Is this the same all over London, or is it specifically a Rough Trade thing? If this is London-wide I'd be quite sad, as I love record shops but I'll probably just order off Amazon instead, difficult to justify spending that much more (it all adds up when you're buying 5 LPs a month etc.)
