1) new record is so good. the LP (Music For The Quiet Hour) is frankly the best longform thing he's done (outside of that Fabric 55 mix which doesn't really count...) The EPs are also cool but a bit repetitive, though I get the feeling that was the point.

5) V is exceptional. Album of the year. If you like Ben Frost etc then you need this. I haven't really liked their previous work finding it a case of form over substance, but this is majestic. Especially the collaboration with Johan Johannsson

6)a) Chicken featured on the Nike Euro 2012 football advert! Incredible.

6)b) Oddball rapper/producer on Brainfeeder. Falls somewhere between Lil B and Main Attraktionz with a bit more beat science wizadry about him. This is the two new singles, 'Money' and 'Money and Food'. Think the LP is going to be something else, really building on the EP he released last year which was messy and chaotic but really good.

8)a) Don't know why I didn't finish listening to the new record. Will do now. It was pretty amazing.

8)c) Miles from Demdike Stare/MLZ releases his electronic noise meanderings. For fans of Pansonic and Mika Vainio. Sheets of tectonic plate shifting noise concrete. Lovely if you're in the mood.
