Yeah, it's really come to this. I realise it's free music but there are reasons I don't subscribe: I just use it to tell me which albums to buy.

Just before the weekend I suddenly had the big red bar appear on my spotify telling me I had less than 15 minutes listening left of my (presumably) 10 hour limit.

Fair enough, I reasoned as my last subscription ended on the 13th of the month it would all be fine when I returned to work. Sure enough, the bar was gone when I booted it up again on Tuesday.

However, I've got the red bar back again now. Looking back at what I've added to listen to and what I've listened to on my last.fm I can only total up a playlist of 5 hours, so where did the other 4.5 hours go?

Or is there a new system in place for free accounts.
