I know it's the norm to review the newest releases, but this is essentially just for promotion. Are there any websites or magazines that review music just because it is a passion? there are often things that people don't notice for months, or years, and these are the records that often deserve review. I've wanted to start a blog that reviews albums of the last few years that have gone largely unnoticed, is this a bad concept?

(and i don't mean re-issues)
