I dont know why but I receive an illicit thrill when listening to music that is cruel to girls. For example:

I dont know what this says about me. I am a 22 year old male. There are many old blues examples as well.

I also find myself opposing those who dislike this music because it is politicaly incorrect. I'm not sure why. I suppose I feel that this music is a large part of what rock and roll is all about, so cannot be dismissed. It might be ugly, wrong, abhorrant etc. But it is a part of the language of rock and roll, so if you dismiss this, you are dismissing a large part of rock and roll expression, which at its base, is an expression of male sexuality.
