The mighty behemoth that are SHIT & SHINE will be gracing Preston on one of only TWO UK dates! To see SHIT & SHINE is to witness something amazing. Hundreds of releases on as many labels make them.
"The brain child of Todd impresario Craig Clouse, Shit And Shine have been churning out hulking sonic spasms of unrelenting, loosely structured noise since 2004’s limited edition LP You’re Lucky To Have Friend Like Us, steadily building momentum through a series of seemingly non-coherent releases, and semi-comprehensible live performances — frequently featuring no more than 6 guitars, oh, and about ten drummers."
The Quietus
Support for the evening is gonna be the following!!!
Gnod
Since their formation in 2007 they’ve had at least twelve full-length releases and claim to have had many more. These appear out of nowhere though, with no fanfare or attention; Gnod aren’t wilfully elusive, but there is a mysticism that surrounds them nonetheless, an ever changing cast and a lack of information about them … they keep themselves to themselves mainly.

Gigantes
Supporting we GIGANTES from Liverpool. Formerly pleasing Preston people under the guise BEAST and being former members of KLING KLANG, synth bass and double drums never sounded, looked or sounded so good. They have recently finished a UK tour and are dropping in at the Conti to, well, just make life better for everyone.

Returning to Preston shores, we also have OPUS POCUS! This is such an awesome coupd for Hello Bastards and anyone who has seen them before.
From near some lakes, we have CASSIE. Formed form the sexy bones of Arficeden, this two piece will be bringing some DIY noisey stuff that'll make your warm beer taste like champagne.

Also back in Preston after a short live absence is Chris Anderson, who has played many times under his guise of Operations. Now under his own name, Chris plays slow-down tempos with ambient soundscapes for fans of Earth, sunnO))), etc.
This is gonna be an epic gig. It's gonna be a BRING YOUR OWN BEER party to boot!
