I think they're playing tonight in London?

Anyway, I saw them yesterday evening in Brighton. I think I'd put off seeing them after watching a rather uninspiring video of a live performance, but something made me change my mind recently.

To be honest, they were kind of exactly like I hoped they wouldn't be like. All of the songs seemed painfully slow, missing all the vitality of the songs. Using the same instruments removes all the great sounds from the records. Like using the piano and an acoustic guitar for A chicken with it's head cut off made it seem really laboured.

I dunno, I still enjoyed if for what it was, but I had this niggling frustration.

And Claudia drinking tea on stage. I mean, fucking hell. Chamomile isn't rock'n'roll.
