James Yorkston was the first member of the Fence Collective (King Creosote, The Pictish Trail) to emerge from the East Neuk of Fife, when legendary label Domino released his debut record, 'Moving Up Country', to huge critical acclaim. James has gone on to forge a career as one of Scotland's most respected songwriters, releasing five further acclaimed albums.
Ten years on, James will be performing 'Moving Up Country' in it's entirety with a 5-piece band - as well as a selection of other classics - in the beautiful surroundings of Reading Minster of St Mary The Virgin, to celebrate the re-release of the album in a special anniversary addition.
Joing James will be Sarah Scutt (clarinet, accordion, vocals), Emma Smith (fiddle, vocals), Jon Thorne (double bass) and Adem Ilhan (harmonium, percussion, vocals, piano).
Support comes from Rozi Plain.
