Papa M is David Pajo. Born in Texas, raised in Kentucky, Pajo has been involved in much of the greatest music of the last two decades. He found instant cult fame with the highly influential group Slint, then went on to play live and on record with The Palace Brothers, Stereolab, Royal Trux, The For Carnation, Tortoise and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy (as well as a host of others). Since then Pajo has toured with the likes of Billy Corgan’s Zwan, Dead Child and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

In 1995, Pajo started the M franchise. As Aerial M, he released several singles, a self-titled album and a remix album. As Papa M, he has produced three acclaimed full-length albums.

His playing is widely admired for it's exploration of minimal composition, jazz, rock and folk idioms, developing beautiful textures, hooks, melodies and rhythms. Make sure you don’t miss this very special and rare performance from Papa M, complete with a full band.
