Being something of a pharmaceutical explorer, Pierce agreed to test new drugs to treat the condition – and the album was made while he was housebound and mending his liver with experimental medicine.``

The album before it was pneumonia or some garbage so he called the album A&E because he spent a lot of time in A&E. Clever stuff.

Is this backstory nonsense just to make up for the fact that the music is massively, massively boring?
