I heard Scuba had gone “dumb” on his new album; incorporating elements of vocal-house, trance and even big beat. Lead single The Hope seemed to confirm this. So was really expecting to hate Personality.

But… it’s actually pretty bloody good. Scuba is one of those producers who almost can’t help but produce quality. So even when he’s dabbling in dance genre I ostensibly don’t like I still end up loving it. The Hope is still a bit dodge (I’m not ready to take big beat seriously again) but I reckon if you liked Triangulation you should give this a chance.
