In terms of your own expectations, or alternatively a widely panned/scarcely praised record that you yourself have a little place in your heart for.

For me it is Wolf Parade's Expo 86. It wasn't panned, but hardly lauded over either, but I was suprised mainly because I thought At Mount Zoomer was pretty crap. There isn't much depth either...its kind of pure hedonism. Of course thats why I love it, its even more fun than Apologies.
