One inch Badge is excited to give a rare opportunity to experience the mighty EARTH live.
The band, which was formed in Seattle, Washington by Dylan Carlson in 1989, is regarded as the first pioneers experimenting with drone doom sounds and had essential influence in formation of such bands as Sunn 0))) and Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine. Their early work was based on heavy distorted, minimal and repetitive structures, although in 2005 , after almost ten years of hiatus ,
EARTH has returned with a remarkably different sound , which included influences from Country,
Jazz and English Folk Rock, but managing to keep their drone based roots.
The band is performing at Arnolfini Gallery , Bristol on 3rd of March and at The Haunt, Brighton on 12th of March. These are the shows not to be missed!!!
