A friend of mine asked this question on Facebook recently, and created a little debate.

What are your favourites? Known classics, or disregarded masterpieces - they all count.

For those of you that are mathematically challenged - that is albums since 1987 - which marks quite a nice turning point in British music anyway, where eighties synth pop and new wave evolves into electronica, indie-rock and on towards Brit-Pop and everything else!
