So what are your favourite albums from bands who only released one album before splitting up (or having a still ongoing creative drought of a significant length of time) or dying.

The La's - The La's
The Golden Virgins - Songs of Praise
Larrikin Love - The Freedom Spark
Jeff Buckley - Grace

I'd say the Unicorns as well but for me Islands seem like almost a direct continuation and Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone may have had some great moments but was a bit patchy overall.
