Hello all,
I haven't posted about our releases in an age so just a quick note about all our past, present and forthcoming releases.

In August we released Part Wild Horses Mane On Both Sides LP 'Poisson' on 180 gram vinyl in lovely artwork by Pascal from the band. Its a unique slab of what they do best and recently Mr Bruce Russell from the Dead C said this about it "Work of this quality tends to be the product of a self-contained and selfconcsious tradition, even if a hermetic one. And in this case I fancy I can hear the flowering of a Northern/Midlands sensibilty that setms orignally from the A Band, Youngs and Wickham-Smith, and Ashtray Navigations. It is informed by ecstatic jazz but its roots are in pragmatic sonic experimentalism of a determindedly autochthonous kind. You can almost smell the witch trials in this, and I urge you all to catch a handful of mane before these horses gallop over the hill"

Then shortly after that we got in two LPs on distro from our buddies in the states. I've got extremely limited copies of Talons' 'Songs For Boats' LP which was the follow up to Songs For Babes and some of you might recognise the album from the demo CDr I included in the Babes release. Well now its fully fleshed out and it all its gorgeous form. The record also comes with a d/l code of the LP and of another companion piece called Lost Ships.
In an even more limited run, of 100 LPs, I've got my hands on four copies of Keith Freund (our main man from Trouble Books) & Jacob Feige's 'From the Bellona Museum of Natural History'. This is a gorgeous LP which features a mix of documentary narrations, fake and real field recordings and animal calls by Feige, and PBS Nova-style synthesizer moods by Keith Freund. Emeralds/JD Emanuel crossed with David Attenborough in the 80's. You can listen to a track here http://soundcloud.com/trblbks/saiga-rift-pronghorn
We have just recently released the first of a new CDr series by the Birchall/Cheetham Duo called 'Tipping Point'. Which is an electric record from this improv drone rock duo of guitar and drums. They're crossing over the divide of the Flower-Corsano Duo and Part Wild Horses Mane On Both Sides. All made and cut and folded by my fair hands as well. And finally I've just put up a pre-order link to our next proper LP release by Richard Youngs 'Amaranthine' I'm seriously excited about releasing this one.
Bringing rhythm to the fore, Amaranthine is built around layered percussion and Youngs' ever present vocals. The asymetrically patterned underlay is scored for drums, household objects and handheld percussion; at points scything fuzz guitar cuts through the sense of ritual with abandon and deep synths bubble up out of nowhere before dissipating into solo shakuhachi.
Amaranthine is another typically atypical Youngsian release in which he ventures deep into uncharted musical space, all the while retaining his essential Youngs-ness.
