Includes a few overblown and over the top guitar solos, and there's not a single track that could stand in the company of any of the JA classics (also, tracks 8 and 9 are, imo, deletable). But some decent enough stuff on here: the opening three tracks and the closer are all solid, and there's enough interesting bits and pieces happening across the course of the album to make it worth a few listens or more.

While I disagree with some of the specifics, I agree with the overall tone/assessment of the DiS review. Maybe leaning more towards a 7 than a 6. Maybe not.

Caveat: I *like* Strays. Like, *really* like it.

Anyone else listened to it yet? Any fans hurriedly lowering their expectations?
