Is this the end of Sonic Youth?

I am totally gutted if it is. They've been my favourite band throughout my whole teens and changed a lot for me. They've never lost it either, The Eternal was amazing. I've always thought they'd never stop, in a naive way.

Oh well, maybe they'll keep it together.
