Whilst writing a piece about Ryan Adams' 'Ashes and Fire' (and prior to this, the most recent Death Cab record), I've come to admit that I get a massive kick out of sad music. I just bloody love it.

So come on then, favourite sad songs ever? Anything so breathakingly wonderful that you'll always give into it, no matter how cheerful you're feeling? Is anyone else unhealthily in thrall to miserable music?
