CHEAPMACHINES
Philip Julian has been an active part of the experimental music underground since the late 1990’s recording numerous works under the name Cheapmachines.
He currently lives and works in London, England.
Studio recordings and live performances within Europe and North America have focused on the use of analogue electronics (particularly analogue synthesizer, feedback, contact microphones, objects and surfaces) and computer based works.
Audio works by Julian have been published on labels including Entr’acte, Banned Production, Harbinger Sound, Staalplaat, con-v, Homophoni, Zeromoon, Twenty Hertz and Desetxea as well as numerous compilation appearances.
He also runs the Authorised Version label.
Julian has collaborated on remixes, recordings and performances with Maurizio Bianchi, The A Band, Birchville Cat Motel, Tomas Korber, Michael Renkel, Nihilist Assault Group, The New Blockaders and GX Jupitter-Larsen 1of The Haters as well as being a member of the improvised drone ensemble Signals with Mark Beazley and Chris Gowers and playing as part of Mark Wastell’s improvising group The Seen.

KAYAKA
KAYAKA is an experimental noise improviser/ composer based in North London. She plays huge range of both electronic and acoustic, instruments and non-instruments, and has a unique, self-taught style of recording and composing.
She is a curator of Pighole Records.

PHARMAKON
Pharmakon is the power electronics / death-industrial project of Margaret Chardiet, which has been operating out of The Red Light District in New York City since 2007. Thus far, Pharmakon has a self-titled CDr out on Bloodlust! as well as splits with Throat, Hands Rendered Useless, Work/Death and more. Chardiet is also a member of the project Throat.
PROTECT SHORT SAMPLES
'Protect Short Samples' is the music of Simon Petre (aka DJ Topgear). Synthesizers, field recordings, bamboo flutes, layers of effects.. commonly make up his current sound, which varies from performance to performance. Living in South Korea for two years and previous to that running the 'Hulk Dash' series of experimental music nights in Shoreditch, this is Simon's first U.K. performance in more than two years.
