There definitely hasn't already been a thread on this. So, what do people think? I think its basically all the things people that hate Coldplay hate about Coldplay rolled into one, deliberately mainstream aimed song. Its got rushing strings, a basic chord sequence, lyrics which don't really mean anything, and is all just a bit too bland. Why they've chosen to release this as the second single ahead of Hurts Like Heaven or Charlie Brown I genuinely have no idea. Its catchy, but theres no real substance, and this is coming from someone who likes Coldplay. I even liked Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, but this just isn't that good. Maybe it'll grow on me.
