Fuck me, talk about dropping the ball after a very enjoyable EP! 'Chloe' sounds like The Frattelies and 'Slow' is just horrible. In fact all the songs that are new on this album are pretty trash, the only keepers are 'Colours' and 'Naked Kids' both of which were on the much better EP and out of the new ones 'Lovely Cup' has a poptastic guitar riff without going overboard (a problem on most of the album) and the opener 'Itchin' On A Photograph'.... they spend the album bouncing from shitty sounding pop band, pub band, uninspired folk punk and occasionally stray into what made them likeable in the first place... but only occasionally
