Sorry for the blatant JAG, i've posted before with some of my old bands to little success and feel shameless about it haha. ;)

Basically, i play in a band called 'History of the Hawk', an experimental hardcore/punk rock band from the Midlands (near Birmingham, Stourbridge to be exact). We have only been together around 4 months i think max and managed to get signed to 'In at the Deep End Records' (Gallows/Send More Paramedics) with Speedowax (Rolo Tomassi,Melt Banana, Ataris) putting out our vinyl. Pretty nuts. We are completely DIY as well, i recorded and mixed our EP. I think i did an ok job with it!

Just wanted to post really to let people know about our music, not really sure how to draw any attention to it, so thought this would be a good start. We are all heavily into stuff on Dischord records and bands like Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, Retox, Bluetip, Unsane etc).

Basically our EP 'OCEAN' will be out (date to be set) in September once the vinyl is pressed and we will be gigging Manc, Wigan, Stoke and some other cities i think at the end of October. Sorry for the sketchy details. (Should anyone be interested i'll post again when i know more :P )
