I bought this on the strength of the reviews and the thought that it may be quite interesting. I've tried, listened to it quite a few times thinking that it would click. However after my last attempt, I just don't get it and think it is actually not very good. I think my local Oxfam / Age Concern will be getting a donation today.

I get the feeling the reviewers got caught up in the whole philisophical background of Maus and as a result this clouded their judgement. It was an "emporer's new clothes" effect.

Anyone else have the same feelings or want to convince me otherwise?
