I love this era, 78-82 produced loads of my favourite records. Entertainment, Closer, Fire of Love, Deceit and The Raincoats have been favs for a while and I'd think are pretty well known on here.

French singer, really funky album with quite a few covers all in her own style, love her voice

Pink Industry - Low Technology
Liverpool band from a little further into the 80s, think this album was from 83. Discovered this through James Pants' blog. Pretty tough to find even on the net
