In theory I should love it - angry young men manhandling fuzzed-up guitars and lambasting corrupt government and preaching social inequality - but I just hate it. Don't get me wrong I liked the Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks etc...I think it's the glut of identikit American bands who've traded in creativity for anarchic posing I really struggle with and I'm tempted to conclude that most of them originate from plush suburbs and formed bands in garages larger than most homes I've ever lived in. Please include all the dross that mix punk with ska.
