i went to see steps when i was about 12. i thought their songs were really fun and i think in my head i was thinking it would be like louder re-enactments of their music videos. no. instead, the arena was full of preteen girls screaming, so what you got was screaming + the basslines to steps songs. also, all those screaming girls gives you a very real headache. their collective screams generate the kind of unnerving tones you'd expect to hear at indie pub all dayer.

but yeah it sucked. and whenever i even think about going to another pop concert i remember how awful the noise of the crowd is and abandon the idea.
